Do you agree with the Electoral Reforms that PN and MLP favourises?

Results of 20th February 2007

Both PN and MLP worked out proposals for a reform of the electoral system. These proposals were discussed by the two parties and they even agreed on some points. In the long run these changes will not have big effects on future elections. But they will strengthen the two parties' "monopoly" in parliament. It will remain difficult and almost impossible for smaller parties to get elected into parliament.

What do you think about the proposed Electoral Reforms? Do you agree with them?

Between 10th and 20th February 2007 almost 200 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

197 votes were cast in this poll.

Unfortunately, there were 6 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 6 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 170.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:
Yes:                               61 votes   =   35,88 %
No:                               109 votes   =   64,12 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

An clear majority of almost two thirds do not agree with PN's and MLP's plans for the Electoral Reforms.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

The results of this poll show, that the electorate is not stupid and that more is expected, more democracy and fair and equal opportunities for all.
