After a Maltese flag, which did not contain the George Cross, was waved during the Independence festivities people started discussing the matter of the George Cross exposed on the Maltese flag. Are you proud of the George Cross exposed on the Maltese flag?

Between 1st and 13th October 2006 over 220 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

250 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately, there were 18 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 18 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 225.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:
Yes:                              130 votes   =   57,78 %
No:                                12 votes   =    5,33 %
I don't care:                      83 votes   =   36,89 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

A clear majority is proud of the George Cross which the Maltese people were awarded after showing their braveness ?

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

The Maltese people are upset about this discriminatory tax. The government has to remove it completely!
