Are you in favour of the new Pharmacy-of-your-choice scheme?

Results of 30th June 2007


The government introduced this new scheme recently hoping to shift work from centralised pharmacies to those in the villages. The patients are supposed to benefit most. Getting prescribed medicines will be more comfortable.

So the question is simple. Are you in favour of this new scheme?

Between 15th and 30th June 2007 well over 150 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

162 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately, there were 4 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 4 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 155.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:

Yes:                                       129 votes   =   83,23 %
No:                                         26 votes   =   16,77 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

An overwhelming majority of more than eighty per cent state that they are in favour of this new scheme. The message is clear.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

This result clearly shows that the government put up a scheme which is not just accepted, but also appreciated by the electorate.
