Do you believe the revised figures presented by the National Statistics Office are correct and true?

Results of 20th February 2007

The NSO presented new revised figures for the past years. The reactions were massive. At the end the NSO's head resigned. But many questions remain unanswered. Some of the new figures look much better than those presented earlier. With certain tables the differences between the "original" and the "revised" versions are tremendous.

What do you think? Are all these revised figures correct and true?

Between 10th and 20th February 2007 over 200 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

241 votes were cast in this poll.

Unfortunately, there were 8 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 8 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 221.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:
Yes:                              102 votes   =   46,15 %
No:                               119 votes   =   53,85 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

A majority of voters believe that the newly presented figures are not correct and true.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

The results of this poll show that once more a government department has a credibility crisis. This time the NSO's credibility shows damages.
