Are you satisfied with the new Park & Ride system?


Results of 30th November 2006


Last month the first big park & ride project was finished and started operation. People can leave their cars outside of Valletta and then use a shuttle service to get into the city.

Is it a good system, this Park & Ride? Are the people satisfied with it?

Between 16th and 30th November 2006 almost 400 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

401 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately, there were 3 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 3 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 391.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:

Yes:                              333 votes   =   85,17 %
No:                                62 votes   =   14,83 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

An overwhelming majority of 85 per cent is satisfied with the new Park & Ride system. This means a big success for the initiators of the project.
The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

It does not happen often that a government project is approved by the public so clearly.
