How important is religion in your daily life?

Religion is getting an important issue. Discussions about the importance of religion - be it a Christian confession, the Islam, Buddhism or other denominations - are ongoing worldwide. How do you see it? How important is religion in your daily life?
Between 18th and 30th September 2006 almost 200 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

200 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately,there were 8 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 8people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is morehonest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 183.
Here the percentages that the various answers got:
It (religion) dominates all I do: 175 votes = 33,72 %
It is very important to me: 171 votes = 32,95 %
It is one aspect besides others: 173 votes = 33,33 %
It is not important at all to me: 171 votes = 32,95 %
INTERPRETATIONS: Even the majority of Malta-Surveys-pollsters say that religion in their daily life is either of minor importance orit is not important at all. For half of the voters it is one aspect besides others, for a third it is not important at all. Only fourteen per cent state that religion is very important to them and only three per cent even say that it dominates all they do.
The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.
Religion is a very personal issue and nobody has the right to judge about others' stand on this. Therefore, the editor abstains from further comments.
