Will the Summer Holidays Season 2007 be a successful one for Malta?

Last year the business with tourism in summer was quite low and the tourism industry complained a lot.

What about this year, what are the prospects for summer 2007?.

Between 15th and 30th June 2007 well over 150 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

172 votes were cast in this poll.
Unfortunately, there were 6 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 6 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 166.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:

Yes:                                        93 votes   =   56,02 %
No:                                         73 votes   =   43,98 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

Definitely more than fifty per cent of the voters are optimistic about tourism's development this summer. However, the majority is not too big. A big number of people are still sceptical and even pessimistic about this matter.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

The poll shows that more people are optimistic about tourism again. Let's hope for the best!
