Which political party does actually do the best job?

Results of 31st August 2006

Are you satisfied with the various parties' work? Which party, do you think, does actually do the best job?

Between 10th and 24th August 2006 over 700 people participated in this online poll. Thank you very much!

Here the details:

804 votes were cast in this poll.

Unfortunately, there were 22 people who voted more than one time. The votes of these 22 people had to be made invalid in order to obtain a result which is more honest and true.
So the number of valid votes was 747.

Here the percentages that the various answers got:
PN (Nationalist Party):           149 votes   =   19,95 %
MLP (Malta Labour Party):         127 votes   =   17,00 %
AD (Green Party):                 129 votes   =   17,27 %
None of them:                     342 votes   =   45,78 %

INTERPRETATIONS:

The work of all three major parties (including AD) is valuated more or less equally by the people, PN slightly better than the others. However, almost half of the people believe that none of the parties is doing a good job. Those 45% could become protest voters in general elections which would give all parties similar prospects.

The editor would like to point out, that this poll is not representative for the whole country. However, it gives a clear indication anyway.

This result is alarming. The three major parties have to find ways to satisfy the electorate more.
